Hi, I'm Bryan (if you haven't already figured that out). I am an internet marketing professional with over 10 years of communications, advertising, and marketing experience. I lead a small internet marketing agency in Minneapolis.
To understand the complete capabilities of my agency - read this executive summary deck we've put together for busy marketing professionals.
When I work with businesses on their branding and position, I counsel them to be very clear on their position and value proposition. With that in mind, here's mine:
I work with small and medium-sized businesses to grow their revenues by 30% or more leveraging internet marketing technology and strategies to draw in the ideal client at the highest prices possible.
Simple right? It is - I'm focused on making internet marketing work for small and medium-sized businesses.
The first thing that most people want to know is the types of brands I've worked on and the type of work I'm most experienced in handling.
My "category" experience is in the following areas
- Automotive (products and automotive sales)
- Building & Construction
- Consumer Packaged Goods
- Consumer & Home Services
- Defense/Aerospace
- Hospitality
- Medical Services, Insurers, and Medical Devices
- Professional Sports (NFL & NBA)
- Technology Services (B2B)
Here are a few of the brands I've worked with over the years. I'm sure they're all names and faces you'll recognize:

Not all digital marketing agencies are the same...
So right here would be the part how I tell you that I'm "media neutral" and that I'm "results oriented" and that we are "360 in our approach to media" and the rest of that nonsense that every other digital agency talks about on their website. This is also the part where I'd dazzle you with technology and all my certifications, and partnership, and the like.
Look - it's really simple, about half of the people in this business know what they're doing. The other half pretend to know what they're doing.
Of the half that know what they're doing, they talk a good game, but they've never had to play it a the level of the "NFL" - they've played scrimmage leagues or they've played high school. Nothing wrong with that - it's all good work. But it's really hard to know who's truly an accomplished professional and who's not.
Most clients can't figure out which one they've hired until it's too late. I’ve worked with amazing brands ranging from: Coffee shops, lawyers, race-car drivers, craft breweries, authors, national nonprofits, pest-control companies, life coaches, tech startups, financial planners, career consultants, charter schools, medical companies, real-estate firms, and social entrepreneurs. I know what bad marketing does to a company, because I'm often the guy who's come in after some alleged "expert" has screwed everything up.
Unlike many (if not most) internet marketing firms in Minneapolis, I've managed and serviced some of the largest brands in the categories I specialize in serving. Overall, I've handled roughly 20 million dollars worth of media for clients with an average return of 5-7X ROAS (return on advertising spend) and a real ROI return of about 30%.
My experience in handling online media spend spans search advertising, display, retargeting, DSP-management, and social media (native content and paid content). In addition, I have handled millions of dollars worth in outdoor, commercial television, direct mail, and other "traditional" media channels. I've done... real work.
As a consequence, I don't talk about how we're going to "monetize your assets," or my design, drive, etc., etc., etc., nonsense that every other digital agency talks about. I just don't have time for that:
We're the little agency you've never heard of because our clients don't like advertising us because they'd rather keep us all to themselves. Why? Because we sell stuff... a lot of stuff.
But you may also look at these brands and go "Wow, he's going to be very expensive."
That's a normal reaction.
But remember, our agency specializes in small and medium-sized businesses; our "history" is big brands, but our bailiwick is leveraging those strategies for companies just like yours. I cut my teeth with big brands, and I still do work for divisions in big brands, but my specialty is helping small and medium-sized businesses grow. It's what I enjoy.
If you're wondering about prices, I'm happy to share with you how we price. I charge based on the value that the project is going to provide to my client. I have one of the most rationally based pricing approaches of any agency in Minneapolis. I charge based on what the work is worth to my client - not how much time it takes. I also charge based on what I believe we will generate in results, not what the work is going to "cost" to produce.
In general, I'm not the cheapest you'll ever hire - but, I am the best value in terms of quality and result. On average, I want my clients to get about 3X the investment they make with me (at a minimum) in increased revenue, brand equity, and market share. Overall, my clients get the better end of the deal.
Internet Marketing In Minneapolis, but not just...
How are we able to accomplish such amazing results? I have a full-service digital marketing agency that is composed of partners and experts across the United States. These are award-winning creatives and programmers who have at least 10 (and in many cases 20 or more) years of experience. These are professional men and women across the US (and the world) who are experts in what they do. I bring them together the way a movie studio brings together the best directors, actors, and production teams to make a movie. It's a model we've used successfully for years.
I focus primarily on businesses in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area, and we're lucky -- there are lots of really amazing businesses right here in town. That said, my team and I can work pretty much anywhere there is a high speed internet connection.
And remember, I'm learning to become a pilot - and would love the opportunity to have a reason to fly to you as a business expense. If you're not able to find what you want in an agency locally - maybe I can help (or at least point you to someone good closer to where you live.)
I'd welcome the opportunity to talk about what you're trying achieve. It's not just a "project" but it's a goal you want. I get that. So let's talk about your goals, what you need to accomplish, and if I can help you get there.
