How It Works...
When you call us (or use the "get started" button), here's what happens:
First - we will schedule a "discovery call" (usually telephone conference, Skype, or Gotomeeting type call).
In this informal meeting, we talk frankly and openly about your business. I'll ask detailed questions designed to solicit the information that we need to understand where you're successful, what your weaknesses are, and most importantly, where do you want to go.
During the discovery call, if it seems a good fit for us to work together, we'll ask about your budget and your time table/process for making a decision. During this part of the call, I'll tell you my basic strategy and what I think would have the greatest impact. We don't "pitch" business (it's a rule that we have - just take a look at our presentation deck). But, our one phone call is usually enough for us to come up with a plan and we can agree on some rudimentary budget constraints.
Following this discussion you'll know a lot about us (and we about you). You will also know what we're going to do next, which is, develop a detailed strategy and budget presentation for you.
After the discovery call, we will put together a formal proposal and a statement of work designed to address the issues we agreed upon in the discovery call.
During this meeting, you will be presented with a proposed statement of work, budgets and timelines, and a description of the deliverable items as well as agreeing on what the key measures of success will be. If you agree to work with us, you will be invoiced shortly after that meeting and work will commence.
That's pretty much it!
When working together, you'll have access to us during normal business hours (and sometimes outside those hours based on what we're doing). You will have a dedicated account executive and we provide a very high degree of transparency about what we are doing, what we are spending, and whatever other measures are important to you.
We can work either task based (with milestones) or be on retainer for services (most commonly with pay per click, media management, and long-term marketing support services). The final option is to hire us on a straight time and materials contract. This is useful in some limited circumstances.
